As Co-Founder and CTO of Mindwise, I built a real-time fraud prevention and threat intelligence platform serving banks, credit unions, payment processors, and federal law enforcement.
The platform watched over 1,000 dark web sources (underground marketplaces, forums, threat-actor channels) to catch compromised financial data before it could be used. When stolen card data surfaced, the system matched partial card information against client portfolios through a LexisNexis integration, so institutions could block and reissue affected cards before the fraud landed. Alerts went out in under an hour; the traditional vendors took months.
Clients included Golden 1 Credit Union, BancFirst, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service Cybercrime Division, which used intelligence from the platform to identify and prosecute vendors trafficking stolen financial data on the darknet.
The platform processed billions of transactions at sub-50ms detection speeds. It was built on Postgres, TypeScript, Firebase, and Playwright-based automation for intelligence gathering at scale. The founding story is on the work page.
